If you have a well or cistern that you’ve always wondered if it was safe to drink from, his might be worth taking note of. The Franklin County Planning Commission will soon consider whether current regulations, which forbid using such water sources for drinking, should be changed. The issue was spurred by a landowner who wants to use his pond as a drinking water source. Planning and Zoning Director, Pat Toth, told commissioners that he’s in favor of making the change:
