Ottawa Utilities Director, Dennis Tharp has been working for the city for a long time, but, that all came to an end yesterday, October 1st. His official last day on the job was yesterday. Has now decided to call it a day as he retires. KOFO’s Milton Ammel spoke with him at after a recent City Commission Meeting. Tharp says he’ll just take the future as it comes:
Over the years, Tharp says he worked in a variety of positions within the city, before finally working his way up to Director of Utilities. He has won many awards during his time with the city. Congratulations Dennis and have a great retirement!
