Workforce issues have been a problem in Franklin County for some time, but during the pandemic that work force dropped dramatically. It has taken some time to recover, but we are now above pre-pandemic levels. Franklin County Development Director, Paul Bean says the overall workforce is smaller than in the past and they are working hard to keep people here to work:
The Franklin County Career Day will be November 9th at Ottawa High School bringing together all the high school juniors from all the schools in Franklin County to hear about job and career opportunities right here at home.
