The eventual renovation of Old 50 Highway is getting underway. The Franklin County Commission has approved an agreement with the Kansas Department of Transportation for the project. County Administrator Derek Brown explained the purpose of the agreement:
The renovation of Old 50 will be done in several phases, which means it could be a few years before the entire highway is renovated.
