Now that long time Ottawa Utilities Director Dennis Tharp has retired, who is doing his former job? City Manager Brian Silcott tells us that, at least temporarily, it’s someone with a great deal of experience:
Tharp has won many awards during his tenure in Ottawa, the latest being the Service Excellence Award from Kansas Municipalities. He was always quick to credit the employees in his department that work so hard to provide quality services for the people of Ottawa.
