Miami County residents looking to vote early in the upcoming general election… the wait is over. Advance voting begins today October 18th. Advance voting by mail and in person always begins 20 days before an election. Registered voters can cast their ballots in person at the Miami County Clerk’s Office in the Miami County Administration Building in Paola.
There are a number of important issues on the ballot in Miami county. From school board races to mayor contests, to city council seat, and a very important quarter cent sales tax question to pay for renovations to the Miami County Courthouse, a bond issue in the Paola School District, and a quarter cent sales tax renewal in Osawatomie for public safety equipment.
