The effort to expand Legacy Square to join Main Street and downtown is running into some roadblocks. The Onward Ottawa Committee is asking for almost a half a million dollars from the city of Ottawa and one city commissioner had suggested a partnership with Franklin County. From all appearances, the county has thrown cold water on that idea. Commissioner Colt Waymire said he sees no support for using county money for the expansion:
