We now have a price tag on doing the first phase of renovation on old 50 Highway. Franklin County Public Works Director, David Lee, told the County Commission there were three bidders. He talks about the low bid and how the county can save a bit of money on the project:
Lee says county crews can also replace all the signage along old 50 Highway, saving even more money on the project. No word on when the renovation of old 50 will begin.
