Due to some last-minute road repairs before cold weather conditions set in, Franklin County Public Works has announced that two bridges will be closed the rest of the week. County Administrator Derek Brown describes the projects.
The project involves resurfacing the abutment approaches on both ends of each bridge. They encourage motorists to drive very cautiously and follow detours. KOFO will provide updates on the closures as they become available. Again, the bridges on John Brown Road, just east of Montana Road and the bridge on Cloud Road, just west of Texas Road are closed for repairs until further notice.
