The Ottawa City Commission is expected to approve a rezoning and conditional use permit for some property at 1426 East Wilson during its regular meeting Wednesday. The project is slated for a housing complex for seniors 55 and over. Commissioner Zach Clayton says it’s about time something was done in the area.
The City Commission is also expected to approve a memorandum of understanding during its regular meeting that will finalize the purchase of property to expand Legacy Square to Main street and downtown Ottawa.
