The Power of the Past Antique Tractor and Engines Show was a big success this year. Organizer David Reeves gave a final report to the Ottawa City Commission on this year’s show and say although they were slightly down in numbers this year, the show had it’s perks.
Reeves presented a check for $1000 to the Parks Department and gave $400 to the Ottawa Police Foundation “Dare” Program. Next year’s show will be extra special as the Massey Expo North America will be in town. Reeves says Massey officials are excited about the show in Ottawa as it will be the furthest south and furthest west they have ever had a show and they are hoping it will draw from all parts of the country.
