Two groups of Ottawa University students are spending their winter break on mission trips to Africa. One group is entirely women, 20 in all and they will be headed to Malawi to carry on a project started in 2020 at an orphanage and a high school with challenging conditions. The second group is all men, and Campus President Dr. Reggies Wenyika says they are going to his home town in Zimbabwe:
The groups will leave the day after Thanksgiving. Wenyika adds that 100% of students who have gone on mission trips with the university have told him the trip has benefitted their life in some way.
