The construction of a new lift station in Ottawa is coming along much slower that anticipated. After some lengthy delays getting all the equipment, it has finally all been delivered, and electrician crews are working feverishly to get it all hooked up. Ottawa Utilities Director, Dan Riney says the new station does multiple things for them:
He adds that the old lift station has been in service since the 1950’s. Riney says he anticipates the new lift station to be up and operational by the end of the year.
