The patriotic banners you have seen hanging from light poles through Ottawa the past several weeks, will be taken down soon. They represent veterans from all the way back to the Revolutionary War through modern day. Organizer, Elizabeth Louderman says the city puts the banners up in October and they come down at the end of November:
Louderman says there were 120 banners on display, but dozens more have been ordered for next year. You can order online at franklincountyhonors.org and fill out the form. Paper copies are available at Pizza Village. Orders will close on February 13th. Total cost is $130.
