Whether the school calendar for future years should be changed or pretty much left alone from year to year came up for discussion recently by the Ottawa School Board. District Superintendent, Dr. Ryan Cobbs noted, for example, that Thanksgiving vacation is proving to be an issue with some school districts:
The School Board indicated that they don’t want any radical changes to the school calendar right now, but of course changes for future years need a thorough discussion with all parties involved.
