An exploding population of hard-to-eradicate “super pigs” in Canada is threatening to spill south of the border, and northern states like Minnesota, North Dakota, Michigan and Montana are taking steps to stop the invasion. They cause major damage to crops. They are already in the United States in southern states like Texas. The success rate for hunters is only about 2 to 3 percent and they reproduce at a wild rate, two litters per year with 6 or more piglets. The question is what to do about it. Canadian laws have made it almost impossible to eradicate them but, never fear, rock icon and hog hunting legend and pork chop daddy, Ted Nugent, says he has the answer, basically…kill em and grill em:

There you have it. Problem solved. Northern states are loosening restriction and allowing more hunters to hunt the feral pigs. Now, whether they take uncle Ted’s advice about helicopters and machine guns is yet to be seen.
