The Franklin County Attorney’s office has three homicide cases in the system at the same time. Something that no one in the county ever remembers happening. Last June, at 11th and Ash, one just east of Princeton and another recently in Williamsburg. County Attorney Brandon Jones gives and update on the cases:
No one has been charged in the murder case outside of Princeton, but Jones says they are working with the KBI and waiting on some test results before making an arrest in the case.
Before the Alvarado case that happened in June of last year, Ottawa hadn’t had a homicide in over 10 years.
