Accountability. Sometimes it may look like kids have no accountability at all, but, when it comes to schools dealing with parents, sometimes the popular belief is that parents will automatically take their child’s side in any dispute they have with school policies. However that may be changing. Ottawa High School Principal Kelly Whittaker says recently she’s noticed an interesting and positive trend.
Whittaker says more and more parents want to keep close tabs on how their students are doing because they want the best possible outcomes possible.
