Fifteen year-old Tawnya Knight from Spring Hill, was reported missing 27 years ago yesterday, December 7th. She was killed after leaving a friend house in 1996, her skeletonized remains found in a field six months later. Her mother, Lori Aubry Knight says a 40 year old cold case solved by Johnson County authorities has inspired her:
The case continues to be investigated. They say someone out there knows what happened.
