Yesterday, December 7th, was the 82nd anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor that thrust the United States into World War II. As we entered the war, restrictions were placed on many items such as rubber and steel. One question many had was… how are we going to feed our troops. USDA’s Gary Crawford says a new emphasis was placed on agriculture:
