The holiday season brings with it an increase in the use of alcohol, marijuana and other drugs and the Kansas Department of Transportation, the Kansas Highway Patrol and other law enforcement agencies, have launched a Traffic Safety Campaign, warning Kansans to “Drive Sober, or Get Pulled Over”. Last year, 125 people died in impaired driving related crashes. December had the second most of any month at 14.
