The Kansas Supreme Court has reappointed Chief Judges in 29 judicial districts for terms that begin on January 1st and end on December 31st 2025. In the 4th District, which comprises Franklin, Anderson, Osage and Coffey Counties, judge Taylor Wine was reappointed. He has served the district since 2018 and as Chief Judge since 2019.

In the 6th District, which serves Miami and Linn Counties, Chief Judge Amy Harth was reappointed. She served as a District Judge since 2004 and as Chief Judge since 2015. Each of Kansas’ 31 judicial districts has a chief judge who, in addition to their judicial responsibilities, has general control over case assignments within the district, as well as general supervisory authority over the administrative and clerical functions of the court.
