The Ottawa City Commission will hold their last Monday Study Session this afternoon, December 18th. One item on the agenda is a continued discussion on a Common Consumption District in downtown Ottawa, where people could drink alcohol on the streets. City Manager Brian Silcott with some background:
The Commission will move to a Wednesday only meeting format in the new year, with the studies being added into the beginning of the regular Commission Meeting on the first and third Wednesday of every month, with the option to hold a special session on the second or fourth Wednesday.
