Alvarado is charged with second degree murder in the stabbing death of 29-year-old Dalton Presley. He is pursuing a self-defense claim. He has been held on a one million dollar bond in the Franklin County Detention Center. However, at the hearing, Alvarado’s defense team once again ask for a continuance in the case and it was granted. The next hearing is scheduled for February 5th at 3:00 in the afternoon.
