It’ll be a couple of months before the Franklin County Planning Commission considers approving a special use permit for a solar farm about a mile north of Ottawa. Officials are still waiting for more information from the owners. Planning and Zoning Director, Pat Toth says at first, making electricity would be for local customers.
The Planning Commission is expected to once again take up the solar farm matter in February.
