If you need to have any type of business done at the Franklin County Treasurer’s office or the Motor Vehicle department before the end of the year…today,Thursday, December 28th, is the last day you can get that done. Franklin County Treasurer, Jody Edwards, reminds people that they will be closed tomorrow, December 29th, to prepare for their annual audit, and they can’t take any extra money with them.
If you need a new license plate, or need to renew your tags and registration, maybe even make a property tax payment, or register your brand new car you got for Christmas, today is the day to get it done. Edwards says she wants people to be aware and not be disappointed if they come tomorrow.
