The Ottawa Main Street Association will receive some funding from the Franklin County Commission to upgrade their website. Association Director Sarah Stauffer say the funding will get the Main Street Association off to a good start in the new year. As of now, their website is non-functional and her request for $1,600 in Transient Guest Tax Funds will help bring tourists to the area.
Stauffer says the hope is that those traveling through the area will see the new website and decide to stop in Ottawa, and eventually visit the downtown area on their way to their final destination. The Commission unanimously approved the request.
