It’s time to nominate deserving businesses and individuals for the annual Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce Awards. There are three awards. Business of the Year, which is presented to a chamber member who has demonstrated outstanding business ethics, community support, leadership, friendly service and has been an overall benefit to the community. A nominee for the Volunteer of the Year award, known as the George Clasen Memorial Service award is presented to an individual or couple from the area who have shown exemplary service to the community through the chamber or other local organizations. And the final award , the Organization of the Year, is presented to a non profit organization who is active and beneficial to the Garnett community. You can nominate someone on the chambers website or facebook page.
The awards banquet will be held January 25th at 5:30 atTroyer’s Prairie Gold. If you would like to attend the banquet, check the chamber facebook page or website for registration or give the office a call. They can tell you how to get tickets.
