Martin Luther King Day will be next monday, January 15th and there will be many celebrations across the nation, including right here in Ottawa. The Ottawa City Commission has approved a Proclamation in recognition of the day. Former ECKAN Director, Richard Jackson accepted the Proclamation, and he said he hopes people remember its meaning:
A series of activities will be held starting Saturday, January 20 and running through Friday, January 26.
