One topic that most legislators believe will come up in this years Kansas Legislative Session, is an attempt to pass a medical marijuana law. Fifty-ninth District Representative, Rebecca Schmoe, says voters who have reached out to her want the freedom to do what’s best for them and keep it between them and their doctors
She expects taxes, abortion, water rights and foreign land ownership to be major topics of debate, along with many others. The Kansas Legislation began its second week yesterday, January 15th, and is scheduled to run through March or early April.
