A proposed water source at 1354 Utah Road requested by the property owner, drew a lot of questions from the Franklin County Planning Commission during its regular meeting. Planning and Zoning Director Pat Toth laid out some details of the project:
A leach field is also known as a septic tank drain field or a leach drain, although in this case the water source obviously not be involved in a septic system. In any event, a number of planning commission members questioned why the owner doesn’t just pay for rural water service, and eventually voted to recommended the denial of a variance to normal water regulations.
