Since Governor Laura Kelly called for a hearing on the Cutting Healthcare Costs For All Kansans Act, over a thousand Kansans have sent nearly 24,000 emails to legislators to demand the House and Senate hold debates on Medicaid expansion.
Legislators failed to hold or schedule a hearing despite the bill being introduced into both chambers over a week ago. These bills were referred to the House Committee on Health and Human Services and to the Senate Committee on Public Health and Welfare— yet neither has taken action.
