When long time Ottawa University Athletic Director Arabie Connor stepped down in September of last year, the University immediately formed a committees to perform a Nation-wide search for a new athletic director. They have found that person. OU Campus President Dr. Reggies Wenyika has announced that Janet Eaton Smith will be the new AD at Ottawa:
Connor was OU’s first female athletic director, hired in 2006 and served for 18 years. Eaton Smith was named Lourdes first full time athletic director in 2018 and was promoted to vice president in 2021.
