AdventHealth Ottawa will be handing out free shoes to elementary students in all Franklin County Schools later this month. At the Ransom Memorial Hospital Board meeting, AdventHealth Ottawa Chief Operations Officer, Doug Rich, explained how the program will work. The program is called “Shoes That Fit”:
Rich says over 1,150 children qualify for the shoes. It only cost $35 to sponsor an individual child. For more information on how you can help, you can go to the AdventHealth Ottawa website, and in the search box type the words “shoes that fit” and it will bring up complete information. The shoes will be handed out February 23rd.
