Anderson County Hospital’s Family Care Center is pleased to welcome Family Medicine Physician Dr. Cecelia Mathis, to the medical team. Dr. Mathis has special interests in pediatrics, women’s health, in-office procedures, and sports medicine. Her philosophy is to meet her patients right where they are in life and to provide high-quality, empathetic, evidence-based holistic care. She says her patients can expect a friendly, caring environment with a laid-back approach.

Dr. Mathis grew up in Richmond, and is a graduate of Central Heights High School. She attended Kansas State University in Manhattan before going on to earn her Medical Degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Salina. She says she is grateful to be back in a community that she already knows and loves. Dr. Mathis has settled near Garnett with her husband and three young children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, barbequing, playing recreational sports, and cheering on the K-State Wildcats
