A Franklin County farm couple won a Kansas banker’s award for their work in conservation on their farm. During the annual meeting of the Franklin County Conservation District, Sydney Kuhn of Oakstar Bank talked about some of the work done by Jerry and Jeanette Wood of rural Pomona:
The other award recipients were Scott and Liz Ellis of Ellis Farms, who owns property in various locations in Franklin County and won the Soil Conservation Award.
