It goes without saying that law enforcement personnel have a stressful life and Franklin county Sheriff, Jeff Richards is actively trying to address that. Richards says although no one wants to think about death, it has to be addressed:
Richards says he recently attended a National Sheriff’s Association and he says he came back impressed because many of the recommendations he heard are things he’s already implemented at the Sheriff’s office, including an employee program on how to deal with stress and trauma.
