The Ottawa City Commission will hold its meeting this afternoon, February 14th, to discuss a variety of things. One item on the agenda is more talk about a Common Consumption Zone. City Manager Brian Silcott:
A Common Consumption Area is an area in a downtown region that would allow consumption of adult beverages in a certain area. A proposed area was defined at their last meeting.
Other items on the agenda include establishing a Transient Guest tax on gross receipts of sleeping accommodations in any hotel, motel or tourist court within the city limits of Ottawa.
