A Bulgarian student who attends Ottawa University was the featured speaker at the Ottawa Memorial Auditorium Cultural Breakfast this year. Yana Goranova talked about various features of her country. She had a surprising take on when her country was under Communist rule from 1946 to 1991 and how her father remembers the period:
