The maintenance of county roads came up for discussion during the regular Franklin County Commission meeting. Public Works Director David Lee says maintenance decisions of gravel roads belongs to those who work them.
Lee says several of the blade operators are relatively new on the job, so it may take a while for them to get enough experience for them to keep the roads in the best condition possible.
