The Kansas Legislature passed a flat rate income tax recently and Governor Kelly vetoed the bill quickly, calling it experimental and reckless. However, Kansas Senator Caryn Tyson, speaking at the Legislative Coffee held in Ottawa Saturday, February 17th, has a different view:
She adds that there are several inflation fighters built in to the bill. She expects the legislature to have a veto vote soon.
