A one vehicle crash in Anderson County Monday morning, March 4th, sent a man to the hospital. About 2:30 Monday morning, Anderson County First Responders from the Sheriff’s office and the Anderson County EMS, as well as the Kansas Highway Patrol, responded to U. S. Highway 169 about one mile south of the Franklin and Anderson County line. A semi truck, hauling a trailer had run off the west side of the roadway. It entered the ditch and overturned, landing on it’s side. The driver of the truck, 62-year-old Michael Michur, of Minneapolis was extricated from the cab of the truck and taken to the Anderson County Hospital in Garnett. Fortunately, he had minor injuries and was treated and released from the hospital.

First responders were on scene for several hours investigating and removing the truck from the ditch. There was no cause for the accident released and no damage estimate reported.
