An accident on K-68, Friday, March 8th, west of Ottawa, sent one person to the hospital. According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department Friday night, just before 7:00, near the railroad tracks west of Ottawa, 14-year-old Jared Ferris was driving eastbound when he struck a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Taylor Stokes, of Ottawa, head on. One person, who was not identified, was taken to AdventHealth Ottawa for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. Another person was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
No cause of the accident or any damage reports for the vehicles involved were reported.
