AdventHealth Ottawa provided the Franklin County Commission with an update on how the local sales tax is being used by the hospital. AdventHealth Ottawa Chief Financial Officer, Shawn Perry, says the sales tax came in stronger than expected at around $2.p million and he described some of their usage during 2023:
A total of $700,000 of the sales tax was devoted to charity care.
