The man who is the KC Wolf for the Kansas City Chiefs almost lost his life, 10 years ago, in a stunt at the stadium that went very wrong, falling around 75 feet onto concrete. Dan Meers was at Ottawa University as part of the Norwood Jones Convocation Series. Meers says while recovering from his injuries, he faced a stark decision:
Meers says he had to thank God that he was still alive and able to function, instead of falling into a woe-is-me trap for years on end.
