It’s not a place most of us want to be, but the elevator at the Franklin County Jail is out of commission right now. Franklin County Maintenance Director, Brandon Sands says the elevator needs extensive repairs.
Sands says it could be August before repairs begin because of long lead times in getting all the parts for the project.
