Supporters and opponents of a proposed solar farm southeast of Ottawa had their say in and around the Ottawa Memorial Auditorium Thursday, March 14th. Orion Renewable Energy Group put on an exhibition about the project, while several solar farm protestors stayed outside. Michael Cressner of Orion Energy gave the company’s side of the issue, and Jessica Christopher of Rock Creek and Nebraska gave an opposing viewpoint.
Orion officials say it could be several months yet before a formal application is made to the county.
