The practice of moving the Wellsville ambulance to an area where there are higher call volumes are under review. During the Franklin County Commission Study Session, Emergency Medical Services Director, Christi Hilliker, described the situation:
Hilliker says in most cases, the Wellsville ambulance was not needed as a back-up and simply returned to its station in Wellsville.
