On Wednesday, March 13th, the Paola Police Department arrested 48-year-old Tanya Jones on three counts of distribution of methamphetamine along with lesser related charges. The arrest stems from months long investigation into the distribution of narcotics within the city of Paola by the investigations division. Jones was booked into the Miami County Jail and charges have been requested through the Miami County Attorney’s office.
Chief of Police Chad Corbin would like to thank the Osawatomie Police Department for assistance during the investigation, along with the Miami County Sheriff’s office and the United States Marshals, Kansas City Branch, for assisting in the arrest.
