Ottawa Police broke a big burglary case. Last week they investigated a burglary at Dangerous Toyz, that had occurred a few days prior. One or more persons entered the business, causing damage to property and stole numerous motorcycles, small vehicle parts and tools valued at more than $10,000.
Investigators developed a suspect from Garnett, and in cooperation with the Garnett Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence in Garnett, which resulted in numerous items identified as those belonging to Dangerous Toyz, being located and seized. Thirty two-year-old Jason Boothe, of Garnett was taken into custody in connection with the burglary and theft of items from Dangerous Toyz.
Officials say not all the items stolen have been recovered and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this case is urged to call the Ottawa Police Department.
